Dr. Madhu Singh is a PhD in Psychology. Presently, she is the Director at B M Institute of Mental Health, Ahmedabad; for Institution Building, Research and Innovation, Community Outreach and Social Integration, Service Development for Preventive Mental Health and Disability Rehabilitation. She has been registered with Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi (Statutory body of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India) as Rehabilitation Psychologist. She is also the member of State Level Committee on Rights of Person with Disability Act, 2016. Dr. Singh is proficient in devising significant solutions, organizing community development projects for the mainstreaming of marginalized children and persons with disabilities.
Her core competencies involve teaching and mentoring students of higher educational institutions; she has thorough knowledge of Acts, Rules & Regulations and policies for Education, Mental Healthcare and Disability Rehabilitation in India. She has extensive experience of teaching, learning, assessment, research and administration of educational institution. She is competent in developing educational program, its implementation in University system. She has broad understanding of Higher education, Disability Rehabilitation Sector, Development Sector and Healthcare Sector. She acquires good track record of working with Government as well as Non-Government bodies. Dr. Singh is competent in carrying out responsibility to build inclusive society with multi-disciplinary approach, leadership and change management.
